This module draws from Palestinian, Black radical and Indigenous anti-colonial theoretical traditions to examine the case for understanding Zionism as fascism. The module considers Zionism’s ideological fusions of Jewish and white supremacy; its function as a vehicle for racial capitalism via imperialism and settler colonialism; its legal and extrajudicial practices of racialised & gendered domination over Palestinians; and its historical and contemporary role as a key node within international fascist and far right networks.
Seen thus, “from the standpoint of its victims,” examining Zionism as fascism helps to clarify its structure, operations and role within the modern racial capitalist world order.

“Racial capitalism finds its natural end in fascism.”
